DESCRIPTION:The MEDEXPO AFRICA – International Trade Exhibition is the largest trade event for the healthcare and medical sector in the region. The exhibition is held annually in Tanzania\, attracting exhibitors from more than 20 countries and visitors from all over East & Central Africa. The event provides exhibitors an excellent opportunity to explore multiple countries under one roof as the expo attracts buyers from the domestic market as well as from the neighbouring countries in the East African Region. \nTanzania is progressing towards universal healthcare. Recently the government allocated $387.9 million for the health sector of which $155.5 million will be spent on development projects\, which would help the government to implement its health improving initiatives.  The sector has been allocated TZS 1\,109 billion. The government has called upon investors to establish pharmaceutical factories within the country.
